Qbell are on a mission to upgrade the world’s front doors

Smart home tech is now a standard of modern living with many homes featuring automated heating and lighting systems. Interactive ‘doorbells’ provide both visibility and security, but can be costly to install and maintain. QBell’s blend of high and low-tech gives homes a cost-effective alternative for managing deliveries and visitors, remotely.

We were tasked with creating a new brand identity and framework as they began work on their mobile app design and build. This would impact on the mobile UI, user experience and digital marketing as they looked to launch into the market.

A marked improvement

Qbell, like many start-ups, were looking to launch quickly and had created an early proof-of-concept before our involvement. We saw an opportunity to create something more SaaS/tech-inspired to mirror the innovative approach to ‘smart doors’.

Crystallising innovation

With mobile apps, the need for a striking and memorable logo becomes even greater. We were able to distil the business’ QR-code approach to craft a unite ‘Q’ to clearly identify the brand.

A concept which rings true

Along with the visual language, we built a Messaging Key which drives the concept into the minds of their audience.

Delivering creativity at every turn

We provided guidance on how to unite the brand assets no matter the application, balancing consistency of brand and versatility of message.
